As autumn arrives in the Eggental Valley, regional and seasonal ingredients take centre stage: mushrooms, herbs, wild berries and local game are transformed into creative and wholesome dishes that combine traditional flavours with modern Alpine cuisine.
Our Alpine hut Oberholz at 2,096 m above sea level is also taking part in these special culinary weeks. Together with several restaurants throughout the Eggental Valley, we invite you to discover the flavours of the region through seasonal specialities inspired by the unique character of the mountains.
At Berghütte Oberholz, in addition to our regular summer menu, you can enjoy a selection of special seasonal dishes during the Game & Forest Weeks in Eggental (19/09-04/10/2026):
- Tartare of local venison
- Potato and blueberry dumplings with game ragout
- Venison liver with polenta
- Honey semifreddo
