As they say, you should celebrate parties as they fall. That’s why it’s good that the events at the Oberholz alpine hut are spread out over the 2024/25 winter season and always provide new surprises and entertainment. Here you can find out what’s going on at the Berghütte Oberholz and when, and which events should be on your list of things to look forward to on your next trip to Obereggen!

    An unforgettable Christmas dinner in the middle of the picturesque Dolomites!

    In the cozy, wood-panelled Oberholz mountain hut, visitors can expect a particularly warm, inviting atmosphere with festive decorations and candlelight and an exquisite meal to create the perfect Christmas mood. Traditional delicacies, prepared with regional ingredients and creative flair – from the hearty starter to the heavenly dessert and the dreamlike backdrop make the dinner a very special experience. The Christmas dinner offers maximum enjoyment during a cozy get-together with family, friends or work colleagues in an atmospheric ambience, accompanied from the live band “The Legendary St.Pauls Tschäss Bänd”, which provides additional Christmas spirit.

  • ApérOberholz. Aperitivo lungo at 2,096 metres above sea level

    The Oberholz mountain hut at 2,096 metres above sea level opens its doors again in the evening and invites you to an ‘Aperitivo lungo’ with specially created drinks and local delicacies. The Obereggen-Oberholz chairlift is the only way up to the mountain hut and back down to the valley. On eight selected Fridays – 3 and 17 January, 7 and 21 February, 7 and 21 March and 8 and 18 April 2025 – visitors can enjoy the unforgettable starry sky under the Latemar at the ApéroOberholz. Specially created drinks and spritz variations, accompanied by small appetisers and accompanied by festive DJ music make the ApérOberholz a unique experience.

  • Tortellino Valeggio Day in Obereggen. TortellOberholz by Ristorante Alla Borsa.

    Oberholz and tortellini from Valeggio sul Mincio in an unprecedented combination. The ValeggiObereggen Day will take place on Saturday 22 February 2025 in the Oberholz mountain hut in Obereggen, an architectural jewel at an altitude of 2096 metres. The unique partnership between the Latemar, represented by the Oberholz mountain hut, and the Mincio river in the province of Verona, represented by the historic Alla Borsa restaurant in Valeggio sul Mincio. Watch the talented chefs of Alla Borsa prepare tortellini in the Oberholz mountain hut and learn the techniques of the excellent hostess of Ristorante Alla Borsa Nadia Pasquali. The handmade tortellini, which are freshly prepared every day by skilful hands for the internationally renowned restaurant, will be served. On 22 February, two types of tortellini will be on the menu at the Oberholz mountain hut. Guests can choose between the classic Valeggio tortellini ‘Nodo d’amore’ and the Oberholz tortellini created especially for the occasion.

    The exciting world of Japanese fusion cuisine can be discovered at the unique ‘Mochi Bolzano goes Oberholz – Shared Dinner Table Event’ in the Oberholz mountain hut!

    Traditional Japanese flavours, inspired by international influences, are combined into creative dishes. At large tables, surrounded by contemporary architecture and nature-inspired design, the dishes are shared in a convivial atmosphere. This not only encourages interaction, but also the shared enjoyment of the diverse specialities. The carefully crafted menu combines classic Japanese ingredients with unexpected global elements – each course tells its own story. The experience is rounded off by a selection of drinks perfectly matched to the dishes – from homemade juices to creative cocktails. Enjoyment and conviviality, accompanied by festive DJ music, take centre stage on this evening. The Mochi Bolzano restaurant will open in April 2025 on the 6th floor of the new Falkensteiner Hotel Bolzano.
