Starting in January, the alpine cheese-maker will be coming to the Oberholz alpine hut every Thursday at 2:00 p.m. to present and serve Eggen Valley cheeses from the Becherhof dairy – of course, accompanied by suitable South Tyrolean wines.
The cheeses from the Becherhof dairy farm will be presented and served by the head cheesemaker himself. And what would fine cheese be without fine wine to go with it? A selection of wines from the local region will also be available to taste. The day ends with a run down the famous Oberholzpiste as the setting sun bathes the craggy rock faces of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site in hues of red, pink, orange and purple.
